I was born in Israel in 1963. For many years, I was on a personal journey to find my way as an artist in my community.
Earlier in my adult life, I experimented with many different types of art, which was all self taught: Piano playing, Fashion design, home design and architecture and more.
Even some of the businesses I owned had to do with textiles, designs, etc…
Recently, my business suffered a blow due to the bad economical situation in Israel and I was forced to go out of business. It was then, during my dark days, that I decided to follow my life long dream of being a “full time” artist.
When I created my first Paper Mache sculpture, I fell in love immediately. The entire creative process, starting with old junk, news papers and glue fascinated me. I developed a way to include more materials like cardboards and metals into the mix.
As an artist, every aspect of creating Art interest me and fill me with energy, but nothing made me feel more whole and at peace than my paper mache creations….The creature come alive in front of your eyes. They are the ones in control.
